I’ve been looking for ways to speed up games. Most people don’t have the time or interest for holding a marathon. This seems to be a way to get a game of Classic settled quickly.

Mobilty has a bigger impact on a board with fewer spaces. It gets you to capitals more quickly. That’s a bonus for the Axis to use against Stalin. The Allies can overcome the Luftwaffe faster by buying cruisers and destroyers. Then they knock on Hitler’s door faster.
Here is a pic of the beginning of turn 7. That’s where it will stay while I go adult. I’ll mess with it more when I’m done adulting.

kyrial, Not much on posting jpeg knowhow so you can either advise me on that or give me you email. The bottom of my copy is pretty much perfect. I can take some shots with a digital camera and you can whatever detail you’d like.

Africa will provide about 3X the ipcs each turn that India will.

And don’t forget that the African Ipcs are most likely to be German rather than Japanese. It makes a big difference to have Germany at 30-33 as opposed to 39-42. 3ipcs(India) makes little to no difference to the Japanese in the grand scheme of things. I see big problems with a Japan first strategy primary among these are that Germany can get too big and walk through Ukr, Cauc and eventually take Karelia. If there are no masses of Allied troops preparing to take WEuro/FinNor then the Allies are in big trouble even if the push against Japan is succeeding.

I would think if you had 3 bomber stacks you could still build additional bombers. The rule is “pieces on the board” and I don’t think the build circle counts. Now, you’d have to have a bomber stack on the factory or lose a stack in battle. I would think if you have 3 bomber stackes on the board and none on the factory, the newly built bomber would be lost.
