that u.s. purchase is obscene…
anyway, what’s the skinny on how interceptors and escorts hit? too many a&a games that do it different ways (and even change as various versions emerge)…

if i have this correct, i will definitely intercept with the 2 fighters and tactical on japan… if i am wrong, please advise and i will modify plans.
btw… do you have to declare the sbr targets before any of this happens, or do you wait to do that afterwards when you know what survived?
okay… i finally dug up the alpha+2 rules for sbr’s … this comes into play so seldom in this game, but i obviously should have been paying attention. it would appear that intercepting with my lowly 2 fighters is hardly worth the effort… as your escorts and bombers get to fire at them… good chance i’d lose them both.
so… pick your targets (factories or bases), fire the aa guns against your bombers, and let’s see how bad it gets. yamamoto is not happy about this. he has all these planes sitting on carriers right there in tokyo bay… watching as the industrial heart of japan gets flamed.
