Note:

US sub will not submerge if Japan conducts an amphibious assault on Borneo…It may not be ignored, as attacking the Cruiser creates a naval battle and nothing can hit the sub, but the sub can hit the carrier and transports…Just telling you so you are not surprised.

Subs can prevent amphibious assaults if they have something that can trigger a naval battle(such as a scrambled plane or a ship) and the enemy has no destroyers. I asked about this in the FAQ regarding a way to defend Hawaii with a sub and scrambled air units not too many months ago.

France:

African men will not affect Germany, so you can do German and I’ll post France after I see Italy but before I do Russia.

I’ll likely grab an Italian Con or Sud if I can with inf in Fea.
