No Mercy (Allies) vs Alsch (Axis) G40 A+2
-
After Italy, my french turn would be as follows so you can do Germany right after.
France DOW on Japan
move DD from SZ 58 to SZ 37 and leave the French Inf in FEAOkay this is retarded.
Retreat; SZ 81 holds. Lose 2 Fig.I am speechless I must say; double ouch to Italy on that turn, 3 trns, 1 DD, 2 fgts down the drain and nothing to show for it except 1 UK fgt.
I’m playing against my friend online here as well (the only guy I get to play against face to face when he’s down from college)
I sent 9 units (4@2 5@3) on attack and got 8 hits first round… -
:-o
Wow. It always feels great to get dice like that.
It certainly keeps things interesting.
I’m going to blame those Eye-talins for this little endeavor. :-D -
I thought I had a lot of allied moves in a row, come to find out it was only the french…
move 1 DD from SZ 58 to SZ 37
Leave the lone french survivor in FEA -
Oh, sorry about that. I forgot about Germany; I was still a bit sore over Italy.

Sorry about the wait.
I’m gonna have to throw in the towel for this game -
I’ll need more time to push Russia back than if I didn’t go Sealion, and Japan has completely lost all initiative. There’s no way it’ll be able to buy Germany the time it needs.
And the fact that Italy keeps shooting itself in the foot isn’t helping too much. :-D
You played quite well though. Germany started off great but those couple of big mistakes will pretty much do it for the Axis.
Again I apologize for making you wait.
I’d be willing to have another game with you, though. -
No worries about the wait, I agree with your assessment though.
I’ve only played a few global games so far but when Japan traded fleet for fleet on turns 2-3; USA can rebuild quickly and Japan didn’t have the economy boost or means to protect any DEI islands.
I felt the worst for you for Italy, that’s just bad luck there. And yeah, by the time Germany made a few small inroads into Russian Territory I think USA would be knocking on the door.
I’m up to start a new game for sure; let me know when your ready and what sides you want to do etc…
