Your noncom’s pretty screwed up this time, Luck. I figured out what you did using your map and I can tell it was all legal.
If you miss a walk-in or auto-kill it’s up to the defender to decide whether he will allow it. However, if he doesn’t, he must consider that the opponent will probably be even more strict in return the rest of the game.
I’m OK with allowing this one because of the circumstances (your fighters are pretty much staying at home anyway, 64 is right in front of you - looks like you just failed to type it).
If the transport were more out of the way and not so obvious, I would not blame a player for refusing to allow. So it’s case by case and the defender has full right of refusal, in my book.

Makes it hard! Sometimes I call it “the only front that matters”, although I realize that’s an overgeneralization…. Still… often it is.

I had to be careful with my wording because it seems I might be able to break through on that front and yet still lose… Only time will tell us for sure what will happen in this game! I will have to review my first 3 rounds to see how Japan got in such hot water so fast in 1941. All I remember now is the debacle at Z50 on J1.

yeah you did lose a cruiser in Z50 and 2 fighters I think. That’s not a good J1 but not terrible. I just had one against TDJ where I lost 3 fighters but at least I killed everything, as did you. The real murder is when you lose a bunch and fail to clear Z35, Z53, or Z56!

Been there. Sent 2 fighters to 35, and 2 fighters to 56. Lost 3 fighters, clearing 56, and destroying nothing in 35. The “destroyer of death” came back to bite me in round 2 or 3, downing yet another plane. Can’t remember which game this was, or the result. But the only game I lost this year was against JWW in league play…… Failed to destroy anything in Z2, but forget a lot of the other results… Anyway, yeah I’ve had my share of bad luck in 35 and 56 before. I still think they’re good attacks - I always do them.

TDJ is charmed in our game. My J2 was bad as well, he hit 5/8 on defensive twos (really 5/9 but there was one round when everyone missed but then his infantry hit the next round so really 5/8) and downed another fighter with his Brit destroyer. Pretty bad UNlucky streak I’m taking right now. Maybe you better take a little more time before making your next move here :wink:
