It cost me a tactical to get to those transports, as I needed to block since I was pulling the French DD out of the stack, not enough defense for a naval battle with ships in my opinion. Don’t know if it matters a whole lot long road.

Well, that ends the Asia campaign. Total cost to USSR assuming air force survives is 3 Mechanize infantry (paid for by Japanese DOW). Japan went sea first, so China is growing, it could be different if they went Asia first.
Order of loss in Yunnan: take off Russian tactical, then USSR fighters, then Chinese fighter (after I am out of infantry)
