Interesting issue with US combat off S. France. You have sub, dest and I come in with sub, 3ftr, tact. You can submerge and just lose the dest, or you could fight which gives you a chance for a 1 to hit my sub, but a chance for a 2 to hit your sub. I will assume you will submerge. If you say you would have done the opposite we can look at it and reroll battle from the start.

We managed 9 turns even with two rugrats running around.
I believe the 2 Tac Bombers are in Smolensk, and nice catch. I lost one defending against Taranto, and haven’t lost another since. I’ll adjust it on the board. The other possibility is Ukraine… do either of those jog your memory? It’s one or the other, but my bet is that they’re with my stack of German units.
I’ll take my Italian turn after work… if you want to just tell me France’s turn, I’ll take that and just go right into Germany also.

Steve - on second thought - how many fighters have I purchased? It is a strong possibility that the two fighters on Greece should be Tac bombers… easy enough to figure out when I get home. I didn’t think I had that many fighters on the board, but I might.

Ok - I checked the purchases spreadsheet (an awesome upgrade to our game play, by the way - nice work), and I’ve bought 3 fighters, and lost one in the Taranto battle… so the seven on the board are accurate. I’ll add two tac bombers to Smolensk - it seems like the place I’d park them.
Also, I had a German AA Gun in Smolensk. I don’t know how we missed that. I start the game with 2 and haven’t lost any, and I keep an AA with my big stack as a rule.

Brutal. Can we use luck tokens on strategic bombing runs? It is an 83 1/3% chance to make it through, and the results are annhilation. It fits in our rules.
That was rough. You hit my sub, my bomber, and an extra mech infantry in Tambov. If you subtracted just one of those, I could have swallowed it, but all three and my chemicals are up.
Anyhow, let me know about luck tokens with strategic bombing… I think we found a loophole in the rules, but we never specified otherwise… and make sure to move your French pieces!
(Can you give me a general overview from now on of what you might do with the French? I understand if you want to keep your options open, but generally you’ll know. It sucks to wait 24 hours for a couple syphyllitic frenchmen to decide what to do :-D)
So, back to the bombing/token use - you got shot down earlier over the Ukraine, and might have used a token. We should consider that.
I’ve calmed down now, regardless. The dice are part of the game. I just hope it evens out this round.

Man, if we could use our luck tokens for SBRs it could really effect the game. We would have to remove the +2, I think and that isn’t even considering tacts on bases… We do only get 3… I don’t know. I definitely would have used one on the American bomber that got shot down. Maybe you can use them on SBRs after you have lost an aircraft on one? I’m open for debate… we’ll need to figure it out before britians turn.

I agree about SBR… we’ll leave them out. I was upset in the moment. It’s a loophole we can close… and have a clear rule before our next two games.
I can’t manipulate the spreadsheet on my computer, so you’ll have to keep it going if you don’t mind. It’s a great upgrade for us.
