Yes, the transports could have retreated one sea zone space and go back to SZ 112. Units remain loaded in the sea. At this point, you’d have to hope that you built more ships and or 3 fighters and or tac. bombers would be on the airbase at w. Germany and enough to save your troops.

Note, if during the sea battle, your ships could soak up 3 hits (2 for battleships + 1 for cruiser), and the defender rolled 5 hits. Then 2 hits would have had to apply to transports which would bring their cargo to the bottom of the channel. The rest of the transports could then retreat.

Correct, but no interpretation is needed.

At the moment the decision where to land has to be made, the scrambled fighters are in the seazone where they scrambled to.
So it is one move from there.

the enemy has captured that territory, the unit can move 1 space to land in a friendly territory or on a friendly aircraft carrier.
If no such landing space is available, the unit is lost.

Interesting idea, and would make for one hell of a night……but if every power had to take the time to write down every move, it might take a while unless they know short hand LOL. Plus it could even slow things down more in the thinking department because now you have so many more what if’s…  All hands on deck moving units around afterwards could cause a frenzy too (going to need some kind of order).

I know some people do an all axis/all allied turn order, maybe look into that

No.  You can leave the CV in SZ 8 during Combat moves.
You’re operating under the assumption that you will win the SZ 6 battle and move the CV to SZ 6 during Non-combat.

Now if you lose the SZ 6 battle - and you will - your fighter crashes into the ocean, but the CV can move anywhere else it wants during Non-combat.

Yes, which is sometimes req’d such as the condition where you have a carrier in range that is obligated to provide a landing space for aircraft that survived if they are out of movement points.
