If you want to kill the transport… in a (very one-sided) naval battle, all naval units fight together+any air. You don’t get to pick units. Only air has that option.

Thus, no bombard.

Yes, with 24 IPCs you can…

Add one infantry in UK, one in Scotland (makes Sealion hazardous and unlikely). More freedom to scramble on G1.

One infantry in Yunnan (dicey battle for Japan), one in Hunan (somewhat dicey battle) and 3 artilleries in the Russian far East territories (increases the punch of the 18 infantries there).

With bids higher than 24, Egypt can be reinforced further. Then there is the typical sub in 98 that people really like. Well placed land units are very hard to beat.

Another option, besides the CV buy, is to invest in bombers.

Do a strat. bomb on London G1 (with 2 bombers), and do another one with 2 + 2 on G2 (with a G1 buy of 2 bombers and whatever else your heart desires for 6 IPCs).

In my opinion, it’s the better option because once you’re through taking London, extra bombers are far more useful against the USSR than a carrier.

Yes, ever facility built has it’s own AA.

The attacker must choose which facility he is bombing FIRST, then the defender rolls.

Alpha+.2 is still only in the Alpha stage (see Alpha vs Beta w/Google).

With changes quickly happening, the people who work on this will let a final tested ruleset come out first, then complete ABattleMap.

Well either way. uk can only make 9-10 inf r1.  germany round 2 buys more transports and dumps what he has on to a spot near uk. G3 is boom boom if you got the forces or wait a round just shuffle a bunch of guys over and G4 it is done.

I think he posted his quote on the wrong thread.  It looks like his quote is supposed to be on some thread about Sealion.  Maybe he was thinking of making his post, saw this topic and decided to check it out, then said “Oh, I’ve got to leave my post” but forgot to go back to the original Sealion thread and left it here instead.  Probably a blonde moment, ha ha ha.
