Yeah, I definitely didn’t think of things that way. Mostly the AAA just stays in the US the whole time. I’ll give it a try.

It’ll be fun to play against yourself and then move the game so it will simply be a cool arms race to try to invade the East Coast (the only problem is the advantage for the Allies, but then to gain enough resources to win you might have win the game already, but you can just leave Stalingrad, Egypt, and Leningrad open and conquer London and set your eye on the East Coast-invading Quebec might help, as well as Ontario, but then you might accidentally win). That final battle will look amazing.

But then again, that’s why it’s considered bizarre-it’s just not an easy way of winning, unless you specifically make it so such a situation will occur.

We use the houserule, that Axis has to win or is to strong on turn 10, then they win and otherwise they lose.

The allies can (and usually will) still win the game if being 30-40 IPCs behind, IF they can correct this pretty soon. Let’s say in ~5 turns max., they must at least get a total equalization of both economies.

Having said that, if there is no visible possibility to (at least) equalize, the allies will have lost the game even if their shortfall is only small. I have no exact figures here but I bet the allies will have lost the game even if their shortfall is 5 IPCs per turn only, if they have no possibility to repair this.

Sometimes every IPC (per turn) counts…

Hey. i have some problems with the upgraded version of the tutorial of Abattlemap. The upgraded version is called 0.80 + i think. i have downloaded the 0.70 version and that one was fine, but the one i need for playing AAG40 is not working. has enyone had this problem? does anyone know what i need to do? many thanks.

Germany, Japan and Italy have to be aggressive. While also taking calculation on when to go to war with certain countries. So if you just sit and build without moving, you’re doomed.

There is a list at the Europe 40 entry of boardgamegeek.com, and someone posted a list of his units here on the forum (prolly on page 2), which lead to others posting theirs…showing quite some differences.

I am still missing all my Russian units…  :cry:
