This is probably my ignorance of the rules, but it’s an unfortunate fact of this game that these little things matter: Can China build artillery when the Burma road is closed at the beginning of her turn?
No, the Burma Road has to be open during the purchase units phase in order to build artillery. Since this comes before the combat movement phase, you cannot open the road and then build artillery, it must be open at the start of your turn. I forgot to look at India as part of the road, so I’ll make it 4 infantry, save 2 for China.
Yes, I meant Iwo Jima…I’m not used to having an Iwo Jima option yet…I still think of the game as Midway, Wake, Hawaii and Okinawa, lol.
