Looking for Global 40 opponent, OOB or Alpha 2

I have only played Europe 40 a few times, but I’d like to try playing Global.
I am familiar with the OOB rules, but not the Alpha 2 rules. I’m still willing to play Alpha 2 though.

I’d be happy to play either with you. I am currently playing an OOB PBEM game that is very slow and have played a single FTF alpha 2 game that has not been completed. So, I’m no expert by any means.
From what I can tell (and read) Alpha 2 seems to be the better balanced version.
In all of these games I am playing the allies so would definitely like to play the axis if possible.
Also, because of work and schedule commitments, I most likely would only be able to get 2 moves in during any given week.
Please let me know if you are interested.

Awesome. I will start a game on the forum and I am using abattlemap .80 and Sgt Wonkos alpha +.2 version 3.1
I believe we have to run the same versions to make everything work right. Hope that works for you.

I already had the right abattlemap. I found and tested the 3.1 version of sgt wonkos a2, so we should match.
You can set up a thread whenever you’re ready to go as Germany :-)

OK, set it up and placed my German orders. Sorry for the delay. I’m looking forward to playing the Axis so thank you for letting me play that side. :-D
