Are your other games coming down along the same lines? Russia is too tough to take before Allies establish themselves?

Well, i have to say : no. My other games don’t lead me to conclude that Russia is too strong. It just takes more time to get it than in any other version of AA. Actually, it is rare that i finally have the chance to do the final fight in Moscou because my oponents have a tendency to concede the game before it happens.
NOTE: i think you forgot to place a sub in sz113. Stirling can add it with J3.

sure. but maybe you will defend well and it won’t work. Actually, i have to say : when the allies are going 100% after Japan (you might have heard about that big theory :lol: :lol: in the 50pages thread about balance…), i get to take moscou. And then, once moscou is down, there is no getting it back. Ever.
Now, if you’re the kind of player who can spend at least 40- 50% of your US income in the atlantic AND stay in control in the pacific, then i have to say : now my only chance if you make no blunder, is to win in the pacific, and very often, that will be a kind of gamble. While if you go 100% pacific for 8 rounds (this number from the popular theory), then the german push in russia gets irresistible and the outcome of the game is no more a gamble as in the pacific, it’s just maths…
