I feel like Germany is running out of steam, and Italy ran out some turns ago.
I do see what I’d do different with Italy, though. We’ll have to do a rematch when this is done.

Since i failed to take Wfr on UK2, i’ve been saying that i thought your position was better. This turn, i feel it is not so clear cut anymore . I really thought you were going to make at least 1 rd of battle in Npr, then retreat and build in Irq.
I like to share some views about the game between rounds like we do. That makes this game really friendly.

My indecisiveness of how to defend Italy fleet or gibraltar I think did me in. I also flet that your failure at taking Wfr and the buying of the subs would have been a great boon, but then I grinded it out in London anyway. I think those extra 6 inf in London would surely buy me an extra turn of keeping UK.
I looked at a hit and run in Npr, but felt I couldn’t do enough damage, and you’d hit me with the remainder plus 5 planes.
As is, I took quite a gamble with the latest German turn. I’m holding my breath to see if it was a fumble.

I’m getting the feeling that Russia is too strong, but that could be me making excuses.

Russia is strong, but what bugs me more than that is that the game is a bit dull for the US: No more really difficult choice : everything they have goes against Italy or is used to retake london. In Global, allies are pressured on both side very hard, and US have excrutiating decisions to take. In pacific, the japs can become a monster so fast that US has to spend a lot in there, and find themselves spending LESS in the europe theater than they do in the E 40 game.
