Download the “war_plan_red_orange” folder within the “Version 0.2.0” folder and unzip it.
Add this to C:/Users/(your username)/triplea/downloadedMaps
Rename the map.properties.txt file in war_plan_red_orange/map to map.properties. There are a few different ways to do this, a good one is to look at the folder in file explore, hit View->file name extensions, and then rename the file without the .txt suffix. Credit to Lost for telling me about this method.
Congrats on the successful funding! That’s no small feat, especially in the board game world. Looking forward to seeing more details on Song for War when you get the chance to share. Always interesting to see how different designers approach WWII mechanics, especially in the Med Theater, which doesn’t get as much focus. Good luck with the production phase, it sounds like quite the ride.
I am on a quest to convert most of my “pushing plastic” games’ maps to a larger roll up format. I have been able to do that with all of my A&A games thanks to this site! Does anyone have a hi-res scan of the History of the World Map? Either the New Avalon hill version or the Z-Man Games reprint is fine.
