Does anyone have the Red Dawn rulesset?

Have nations buy units at the end of their turn.

Ships are still repaired at the beginning of the turn, though.

I’m currentley working on an ‘Armageddon’ type of rule set. I decided that in addition to Nuclear rules and other goodies that I wanted zombies. I downloaded the rule book for Zombies and printed it off. It took me about an hour to figure out how to do it without the special cards and tokens. I decided just to put a blank marker under the piece that is a Zombie unit.
Without the cards I have made it so that the Zombies are stationary. Unless, you have the tech that allows you to move one. I decided to treat the chart with the advantages as a research board for my game.
Has anyone else done this?

It sounds like you might enjoy Risk: Europe! It’s available for only about $30, and it features free-for-all battles across the old world of europe with a more complicated economy and army structure than classic Risk.

I don’t think the A&A 1914 board is well-suited to a random objective deck…you’d be investing a lot of time in fiddly setup, beancounting, etc. only to have someone win all of a sudden because they had an easier-than-expected objective card that they drew at random, or because you guessed wrong about what their objective card was and blocked them out of the wrong territory.

I’m using the Spring 1942 map but you get the idea with global - it is adaptable - it gets fun because you see your opponent building up somewhere and then you have to react to that. It makes every game a new game with new starting strategies. We don’t find it necessary to put restrictions on what you buy. Each round of buildup you will be observing what others place out and can buy accordingly.

Actually, I would say all tanks are A: 3 D: 2 but you can combine it with an infantry for it to D: 3 if they are American, Russian or German.  Potentially British.

Italy, ANZAC, Japan and France would not be able to combine these.

It’d be more in line with BLITZKRIEG since Germany could combine an infantry iwth a tank, and a tank with a tactical bomber for extra punch on offense and defense, more akin to what they actually did.

hahahaha… those are the best moments in the game. I swear, that transport in the E Canadian Sz is a damn fine shot! :evil:
