I know. The only legal landing zone for the planes, after sinking all those wonderful German transports (they were very yummy, thank you) and the German battleship was to land in Poland. So I used them as blitz blockers instead of leaving an infantry unit there. Traded 2 Fighters and a Tactical Bomber for 8 Transports and a Battleship, and at least 1 attacking unit, maybe a second one as well. Who knows? Still, 31 IPC for at least 79 IPC in German equipment is a good trade, no? And you’ll have to replace those transports if you want fast reinforcements into Novgorod/Scandinavia.
