If you have naval vessels, then I can elect to keep my submarine in the battle. Without an attack destroyer present, you cannot force my submarine to stay, but I may elect to keep it in the fight.

Just noticed, the two fighters that attacked Sumatra are still on Sumatra, they should be on the carrier in SZ 41. Aint no thing, since you didnt attack SZ 41, but if you could rectify that so we don’t have a mistake during Japan’s turn, great.

I mean I did count every of your units for the first round and the 2nd round I made it like you got 2 hits on carrier then 1 hit on BB but instead you are taking 1 hit bb 1 hit AC 1 sub so your ROUND 2 is a @2 instead of @1 but the roll was 4. It’s up to you wheter ro not you want to reroll it (I would def prefer not) if you disagree just roll @2 here :(

Nothing. A submarine or a transport of an enemy nation has no bearing as to the combat or non-combat movements of your ships.
If you choose to attack the destroyer on your turn, you may do so. If you choose to disengage you may feel free to move your submarine elsewhere, even to attack my units elsewhere. The only thing you cannot do (because it is an enemy destroyer present) is to submerge. If I had a cruiser or something, you could choose to submerge instead.
Essentially, I elected to ignore your submarine, instead of attacking it, which is my discretion.

Think of it this way, instead of your submarine defending at 1, you can use it to attack at 2!
Granted, I thought the 17% chance of losing my destroyer if I attacked you exceeded my risk tolerance for not blocking the Japanese fleet from SZ 33….
