Yeh, been busy.

not a problem, just reminding you

As you can see from my Oct 27th post, this one definitely carried over to 2012. I asked if you wanted to end it in 2011 and you just kept playing. per the rules this carried over to 2012 (unless you can make it to november without losing).
“sorry, was concentrating on a fast game with Zhukov - ready to get back to this one. do we want this one to carry over to next year or?”

Ah, right. How very clear you were, too. Shame I stopped taking it seriously from such a dominating position.

do i sense some implication that i was unclear? the rules are crystal clear about the procedure souL, and I asked if you wanted the game to carry over or not and you continued. are you saying you would have gave up prior to Nov 1?
i must disagree respectfully and say that at no point were you in a “dominating” position in this match.

Well, yes that’s the implication–that’s a sentence fragment, tossed in amongst a turn posting, and I never responded. Yes, I’d have surrendered–as I was already below .500 that season and it didn’t matter. There’s no way I’d have just let the Japanese fleet go under. This game sat idle for weeks with no sort of response from you–there are rules against that, too.

i’m not sure I’m following your logic. why would you ever “let” the japanese fleet go under in any circumstance?
regardless, if what i was asking was unclear, you certainly could have asked, correct? and in any case, i didn’t even need to ask, since the rules clearly state that the game, if not complete by the deadline, moves into the next year’s league. am i missing something? it was a very tight game at that point, if you go back and look.
i believed i was going to win it, that’s why i didn’t concede in 2011.

as for the game going without a response from me for a time, i mentioned that i had forgotten about the game due to a lightning fast game with Zhukov, which he has since suspended for a couple of months. i believe you also have taken some lengthy breaks in the game, which i’ve been ok with. if you think i have been underhanded in some way, do you want to bring moderators in to review?
