This makes no sense. Japan controls Philippines at start. The only US forces are in Hawaii. This is Milton Bradley Edition, not global

When you look at my Karma section below it says Applaud and smite.  So if I said something you like, agreed with or what ever that you found possitive you would press the applaud button and my + Karma would go up 1.  If I pissed you off you could press the smite button and my - Karma would go up one.

They are all anonymous so you never know who to thank or who to smite.

Assuming America has Heavies Japan can still defend its fleet for at least a few turns with 2bb cv 2ftrs. Japan can even purchase an additional carrier to help in this. But it isn’t certain that American Heavy bombers could reach the sea of Japan assuming Japan has pushed Russia back to Moscow. At the very least transports give Japan a few turns to roll tech in reponse to American heavy bombers, but when Japan has a few ICs on the board America can immediately nuke the Japanese.

Why should germany be ready to push into Moscow on turn 5? The allies are dropping of units into Karelia faster than the Germans can build up. Germany is lucky to hold out until round 6 never mind being the one to cause the russians to retreat to Moscow. Germany’s goal is to stay alive and threaten Russia as much as possible to limit what the allies can throw against Japan.

By turn 5 the allies have had 10 transports pumping units into Europe. 20 allied units plus airforce can hit W. Europe, Germany or E. Europe by navy alone, no way Germany takes Karelia and you can’t threaten Moscow as Germany without Karelia.

You really don’t need to go after the USA, but if you must, this is sometimes fun…

X= whenever opportunity knocks

On turn X, land 6-8 inf in Alaska. The USA will amass forces to come up to Alaska, but don’t worry, Alaska is not your objective… On turn X+1, move all naval units to Sea of Japan for reloading. On that same turn, lots of USA infantry will probably move into W. Canada, and that’s exactly what you want. On turn X+2 move your entire fleet to Hawaii, and take it with AT LEAST 10 infantry. This move is called “Check.” Now the USA has many land units in W. Canada, but has to worry about the invasion of California. Which direction should the units go? They could take Alaska, but it leaves W. Canada open and makes the American player heavily rely on whatever infantry he places in CA at the end of his turn. He could move everything to CA, but Canada is open again, and the Jap threat in Hawaii remains… either way, you’ve just disrupted about 4-6 turns of US movements to Europe… Germany can breathe now.
