Amon, when you do an edit, please do not re-do the turn. Instead, do edits in the Place Units phase–so I can see them and their context clearly. This is a tourney game–we should make sure all the combats with pbem rolls are included in the history. Cause when people load this file to review the game they will wonder what happened on Germany 4.
If all you need to do was switch 2 inf from Ger with 2 inf from Poland then just use edit to move 2 inf from Pol to Fra in purchase phase–there was no need for a re-do.
As for the edit…it is borderline, and most of the players here would not allow it. It involves a combat move, and there’s always the possibility that you would want to change your plans after a disastrous combat like Kar. Since I asked for and was granted (or half granted) a similar edit, I’ll allow it, but in the future any edit of this sort (ie any edit that is not purely non-combat, but involves mistakes originating from combat movements prior to combat rolls) should be discussed with me first.
Actually, from here on out, I don’t intend to allow edits of the sort described, so please take care–once you hit done and roll the dice in pbem mode, your combat movements are final.
That is a massive break for Allies at Kar…I was hoping for a break after the Chi disaster!
