You have moved in three league games since my last move.  The tournament games are supposed to be prioritised.  I understand not being eager to play when you’re losing badly, but this is borderline stalling.  I’m going to report this to the moderator, because you’ve put the tournament game off numerous times before.

:cry: You’re such a sore loser!  So funny you think your failed attack on Bel or Rho is the reason you’re losing.  Dream on!  Your strategies suck!  As do your put-downs.  You’re just a schoolyard bully, trashtalker and namecaller.  Real big man!  Putting down others!  Real big of you to threaten not to play for a couple of weeks.  That’s exactly what you want to do, because you finally realize it’s all downhill from here.

And that comment you made to me about you being the only quality win I would get all year?  What a freaking joke!  You are a legend only in your own mind.  I’m a nobody and I’m taking you out even though you’re getting luckier than me.  It’s all strategy, and you are crashing and burning.  I guess a 13 bid wasn’t enough.

This is funny.  You’re calling me a juvenile in the most juvenile of ways.  “You know it used to confuse and anger me”?  You don’t even know me!  You are truly an idiot!

The next time you post on here or send me a personal message with some smart a** comment, I’ll make the next break a 2-weeker.  I’ve told you, I have better things to spend my time on than to exchange barbs with an egotistical blowhard.

Said the person who is bigger than the tournament, and bigger than all the other players.  You held up the tournament from the first round, taking your sweet time.  If you stubbornly hold out for 20+ rounds against me and take 3 days (or 2 weeks?) between moves, you will have effectively sabotaged the tournament.

Grow up, and shut up DD.  You’re not nearly as good as you think you are, you are extremely arrogant and that’s why you’re offended when someone else thinks they’re pretty good.  I’m so glad I finally got the chance to play you one on one to prove your know-nothing comments to others wrong, that I’m not very good.  Any objective observer can tell you that the dice have been pretty even in this game overall.  It’s not being decided by the dice, thank goodness, partly because we’re both making sure of that by the attacks we do or don’t make.  I’ve been able to take advantage of your over-confidence the whole game, and now you’ve got severe issues.  You know, as long as you stiff me and don’t make a move, I might as well write stuff, since it just ticks you off so much any time I ever say anything at all.

So just keep dragging your feet.  I’ll be sure to tell everyone why we’re the last game to get done with round 2.  You’ve made moves against Boldfresh, RisingDragon, and one other league game since I moved here a couple nights ago.  I thought we were asked to prioritize the tournament game as a condition of joining it.  But you’re bigger than the tournament.  You’re the champion, and you know it all and cannot be taught anything.

I’m not going to read the whole thread, but obviously you guys aren’t getting along.  Just like to suggest posting turns only (or map correctiosn/moves).  Just things related to the game.  No other comments please.

Also I’d like to suggest keeping the pace moving.  Tournament games are expected to take a little more priority then league.  Generally in any PBF or PBEM turns are expected within a 2-3 day limit.  Over the years we’ve gotten into a habit here of almost daily turns or turns every 1-2 days.  Hopefully that pace can be kept up.  I hate trying to enforce strict turn limits b/c we all have lives outside of A&A and usually the players of the game get settled into a nice schedule once the game gets going.

Gernerally the first couple of rounds (of a tourney) are the longest to do, but I’m hoping we can wrap up this round by the end of the month.

Please no delibrate delaying, but also multiple turns in one day are not expected either.  Turns every 1-2 days, if possible, anything over 72 hours gets borderline, but is common in DAAK and other online clubs, so thatis usually the fall back.  Just keep a good pace.

Will post again when the 5 other tourny matches in the rounds 6 and 7 get the the 10th.

That’s logical, except that our game may go a lot more rounds than there’s.  I’m going to try to post every 1-2 days like I normally do, as per Darth’s instructions.

I moved (I think) Thursday evening.  Still waiting.

Going back to no comment mode.

Just one more reminder (really to all players reading this).  Watch the language.  I editted a post a few posts ago.  Make sure we keep things clean and fun.

All these games are supposed to be fun.

One last thing.  I’m going to suggest taking a week off with no turns.
I’ll revisit this later next week.

Don’t worry, you guys are ahead of the other games and you’ll be allowed to finish.
I’ll be gone for a week in July anyway so depending on the staus of the games we may not even be able to start round 3 until mid July once I’m back.

Just take some time, cool down, and play some other games.

Alright guys I’m going to open this game back up.  Feel free to do turns as normal.  I’d suggest a decent pace b/c I am going to be starting rd 3 now as well.  3 games are finished and actually one rd 3 game could start now but since I’m going to be gone for a week, I just want to roll sides and give the players the ability to move on right away as the next few games finish up.
