AWWWW YEAHHHH!!!

The global game has a ton of playing pieces, but there’s always room for improvement. Like many people, we 3d printed air and naval bases. I’m curious what pieces others have cannibalized from other A&A editions. This is what we use:

Major Industrial Complex - White complexes from Classic Minor Industrial Complex - Grey complexes from Revised China Artillery - UK artillery from Revised (same color) China Flying Tigers - UK fighter from Revised

That’s been my experience, sadly. I’m not sure how or what house rules can produce different results, but I encourage you to try.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I would still like to have the missing and altered pieces/ sculpts. Basically it was a labeling mistake by the seller. On the other hand, sending it back and looking for another offer is too much hassle. Maybe I can fix it with a 3D print :-)
I’ve known Axis & Allies for a long time, but the Europe and Pacific versions somehow slipped past me. They’re really well improved compared to the rather simple world version.

No. The rulebook leaves no room for such an interpretation.
See Europe 1940.2, page 27:

“Naval bases can be built on controlled territories with a coastline, including islands. Only one facility of each type (industrial complex, air base, and naval base) may exist in each territory.”

and page 28:

“All sea zones that border a territory containing an operative naval base …”

@Marco-Luti Conveniently,Russia has factories that can be "ahem"liberated in ukraine,st petersburg and volgograd.Cannon fodder volunteers can be recruited there to shield your panzers for when you want to free moscow from the bolshevics.
