How many poker chips do I need for global 1940? Will I need more than one set? What is your guys experience?

I have the set too… I also found the default set a bit short… if I’m not mistaken, I have the default set, two sets of the 25IPC add-ons, and I custom-ordered an extra ten 10IPC chips (as mentioned by others, contact IWNGU directly to get IPCs in a non-set fashion, as I did by ordering extra 10IPC chips).

Bottom line, I was happy with the number of 1s and 5s in the default set, but needed more 10s, and got two sets of the 25s.

We just check the IPC’s at the end of the turn for the power collecting the ICPs.

In Alpha +2, UK Europe starts with 28 IPCs and UK Pacific starts with 17 IPCs.

Thnx for the quick answers guys, my friend will prob find the answer to be a downer lol good thing we stopped after anzacs turn, we’re still in the first round of play w the new set up and so far things seem pretty well balanced. The other issue is that Japan in the global game has nothing to do until turn 3 either, so this could seriously backfire.

The Japanese player simply has to say “if you declare war on me it’s gonna cost you Siberia” and the Japanese make a serious push into Russia with all his planes and Russia is screwed.  Buys the Pacific allies some time but may cost you Russia.

HA!  My guys are idiots.  It is only one extra space.  Can’t wait to bust their A$$e$.  I’m glad they know how to read.  I was REFing our the Double Blind game and going back and forth.  I’ll have an After Action report on it AFTER they rewrite it!!
