I am looking to host a one on one AAA game tonight. It will be AA50 1941 scenario. The only options I will check are total victory and NOs. PM me for a password.
I like the train tracks. Are you including rail rules?
:-D, yes there’s rail rules on the game board but not the one under the table!!
Wargame is not my only hobby
I agree with you guys revised is the way to go; however, I had one buddy who just didn’t grasp the concepts until he started DDay. So I would have to say it depends on the person also.
The only thing I can think of that made DDay easy to start with is all the idiot cards tell you what to do in order. But for the most part I stick with revised
If this is the old CD game, what may help is disconnecting from the internet. That happened to me (loading up for one player) but when I disconnected the ethernet cable, it worked fine. By the way, if the thing does start working, SAVE FREQUENTLY!
The game does freeze your comp. occasionly and it sometimes right when your about to win  ! Don’t know why it does it but there are “pathes” to fix it…
I can’t get it to run behind my proxy-server. I can see one computer talking to the other on my router by neither copy of the program seems to notice the other.
There is also a bug called “unit lock” some times when the game gets a high number of units on the board it freezes. You best bet, like TG said is to get the patch then save often.
