Questions about planes and scramble

My mistake was not sending my two move units to Romania the previous turn as Germany. I just played out turn 9 and US was able to stack Northern Italy. Italy is out of the game now, but on the other side of the board Japan is making 105, and he is bombing Russia with 5 bombers every turn. He has more than UK in the south and he can now start landing in Africa taking the money away from Russia and UK. I do agree that US is going to eventually take Germany, but could he do it before Moscow falls? Probably :/

So the scramble happens before the airbase can be bombed.TY so much for clearing that up for us :-)

this is what you have italians for

italian bomber can kill the airbase, and germany can kill the fleet.

not doable until i1, g2, which is probably too late

and you have to get through british fightercover, probably unescorted

Doesn’t that just give a free pass of sorts to Italy?  They can wave goodbye to the Brits who are probably leaving to go deal with the Germans and use their nearly intact navy to get Cairo all the sooner.

Uk usually wont care about germany since he is not going sealion.  UK will easily stack 92 and be able to threaten the italian fleet where ever it goes.  (stacking 97 would be the best thing italy can do).

The NAs from the revised rulebook are hardly compatable with AA 40

Yes, as long as the territory being attacked is also being attacked by non-paratrooper land units.
