Iām suddenly in a little bit of a bind here. I must decide whether to hold in Germany or WG given my failure to retake Denmark. A few questions, since Iām so rusty:

Do I need to place a sub in sz112 to enable my fighters to scramble to defend the seaszone?

If I decide to use subs in defense, you must fight the sea battle right? You canāt just unload transports in a seazone with my subs unless I choose to submerge, and you have no dd.
Obviously, my mind has been elsewhere the past few weeks.

Another question: That British sub in sz97, it covers the convoy zone for Italy and so I subtracted 2. Must I also subtract 2 for the German countries of that convoy zone (Yugo and Greece)?

Yepā¦. which is why Iāll move Russian sub there too. Convoy counts for Italy, and again against German.

1. Nope. You can scramble even if you donāt have any ships at all. Which is why transport canāT be send alone against a sz with airbase (and planes)
2. Nope, I can ignore subs If I have warship with them, transport alone canāt unload.
