power and its resources cannot be mixed with those of

Seems a little ludicrous but hey…this game seems to be full of little problems but it does put more strategic importance on wiping china out altogether as early as possible, if necessary at the expense of going after india. Thanks gents.  One more question if I could…if a kamikaze attack (or a number of them are made on a carrier with aircraft, if the carrier is sunk are the aircraft lost?

Not necessarily. Kamis can only be used on the allies’ turn, so the planes have their remaining movement to land

I assume airbases and naval bases stay.
It only says china destroyes any industrial complexes it captures.

Again, both kamikaze attacks and scrambling are defensive reactions.  If there’s no attack, there’s no defense.  Combat moves done only to avoid combat do not trigger kamikaze attacks or scrambling.

A good definition of “attack” would be “combat movement into a hostile space or declaration of intent for combat in any space”.

With Kamikazes having the added requirement of : “If the allied player has moved ships into one of the above sea zones, …” ?

Which to me implies during this combat movement. Seems pointless to have this line otherwise, since you obviously couldn’t attack a ship that has never moved there.

Its the UK I feel bad for, by turn 3 or 4 they are down to 2-4 IPCs a turn, esp with Jap subs next to India.
