Intriguing. I gotta say, I’ve never thought about specifically altering the momentum structure (who has the intiative) in this game, but I think it might make for a very fun game. Explaining it historically as weather works, especially on the Eastern Front.
Hitler Assassination

Alpha rule Amendment: Should the German player be able to attempt to kill Hitler? Roll 1 d6- On a roll of 1 (Success) the Nazis recieve a permanent 15 IPC increase per turn for the balance of the game. On a roll of 2-5 there is no effect. On a roll of 6 (Failure) The Germans must lose 2 Tanks, 3 Mech, 3 Art and 4 Inf.

um. no.

A permanent + 5 is ok.
a permanent +15 is CRAZY.
-
xeno rules ! and yeah +5 IPC sounds a lot better than 15

I think a loss of German ipcs or not being able to move that turn should be the repercussion. Hitler didnt desttroy entire divisions. He just killed the leaders in charge of them who he suspected were trying to kill him.
