Can allies use ally's Transports?

Does anyone know how to get a copy of Don’s ORIGINAL 3rd essay? The abridged version on www.fresservers.com only contains the first two parts (see the outline on freservers.com). Years ago I read the full thing, but can’t find it these days. It talked about getting the Japanese fleet into the South Atlantic, how to analyze when to use it to deter South Africa, when to dare to attack Brazil, thoughts on a submarine-producing Industrial Complex in the South Atlantic, and even considerations regarding the use of Germany’s first (alternate) turn purchase of a bomber?!, along with other air units, to coordinate with Japanese fleet. I wish I had saved a copy! Can anyone help me find it?

Yeah but I also disagree with you so take it for what it is. As DM said if it were so easy to win with the Axis the play by email clubs would have lower bids to be the Axis as it is they currently stand at 24+! You’d think that is a lot but not really if you know how to win as the Allies. Even in RR you still need a substantial bid I’d say 14-15, and would always be willing to give the Axis a little to much than play as them with too little.

I’ve played the WWII scenario in Civ2, but it takes too much micro management. I love all the civs, but usually don’t play the scenarios.

If you just read p. 21 then there isn’t enough info on that page to cover how ANY unit move in NC so how do you solve that then if you think p.12 to 17 is just for combat? Of course you read each “How They Move”-section for each unit and apply it in NC as well. You can’t just pick a line here and there and say that this is for Combat only but that is for NC as well, either all or nothing!

Absolutely true.
I take the rules for Combat movement, apply them onto Combat move.
I take the modifications and exceptions written down in NC movement rules, and apply the “Combat move rules modified by the NC movement rules” to the NC move.
I don’t apply the pure Combat move rules to NC, and i don’t apply the modified rules to Combat moves.

There is - look for them (Axis and allies, and Iron Blitz) - prolly find them on ebay.
