I see, however you are correct. The “Sea Units Starting in Enemy-Occupied Sea Zones” - rules add to the regular Combat Move rules - they don’t suspend them.
Started to paint some troops….

Hi there,
First of all I must defend myself I am not an artist by any means. I have no skill in this, but for the love of the game I will try anyway :)
I have started to paint some of my troops for A&A Global1940… :)
This is how far I have gotten so far (actually finished with US Inf.). Please say something, and be gentle… :)By no means close to Pyle1999, but hey, it´s fun anyway Give me your 5 cents on this project…

Those look great, excellent job sir!

Nice job man! Once you finish them all… The board will look a thousand times better… I actually lured a few people to start playing because of that fact. They said if my pieces weren’t painted they probably wouldn’t play hahaha… Makes it more enjoyable.

Nice work. I used to paint a lot of miniatures back in the day playing D&D and Star Wars RPG’s. I loved it. I am thinking about doing an Axis & Allies painting project once I get all the new units from Field Marshal Games.

thanks boys. It´s quite time consuming, and my not-so-steady hand can be pretty frustrating, but it´s fun :)
I also take pre orders for painting your troops! Ehh, no! :)
I´ll post new pictures once it happens something. Might have some time on my hands between christmas and new year….
keep on gaming! :)

Looking real nice. Great job.

Nice!

Nice work! Keeping the round base of the troop pieces in the original colours while painting the rest of the sculpt was a great idea, since it keeps the pieces connected to the original colour-coding schemes.

that was my plan :)

That’s pretty good for someone with little professed talent.
I do like the Stukas and US carriers especially.
Did you use decals for the stars on the carriers?
