It is possible for the Russians to attack Estern Poland, but you have to buy mech units and tanks, and perhaps a TB. Very curious to know how such a game would end, but I don’t think it would be favorable for the Russians to trade their army for a German army. Because unlike WW2, the Germans can make new ones…

ShadowHawk showed me many new (to me) and good tactical moves, so it was an interesting game to me.

Unfortunately I made too many mistakes with Japan on J3 to have a realistic game (lost many infantry because I forgot to use my figthers). Also I am not used to playing online, so it takes an hour to do one turn with Japan.

But I am practicing now… :D

Playing online is tough for me as well.  I need to see the whole board or I’m lost.

From what I understand yes that will cause a declaration of war with Japan.  Also, I think if Japan controls Chinese territories bordering the mongolian territories, and Russia attacks first against one of those territories, then you will not get your 6 guys from mongolia.  Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

It depends on whether you’re talking about OOB or Alpha.  In OOB, kamikaze may be used if the ships end their combat movement in a kamikaze zone, whether or not there is a battle.  In Alpha, kamikaze are triggered by combat, not combat movement, so the ships must actually fight in a kamikaze zone (or launch an amphibious assault from it) in order to be targeted.

All well and good - though I haven’t been as lucky.  And from reading these forums, many others haven’t either.  But again, those are all in the context of AAP40 and not Global.  Not having had the benefit of playing a Global game yet, I can’t really say for sure whether the US Korean IC would even become a consistent strategy.

In any event, I was only pointing it out as a perhaps unforseen consequence of Russian expansion - one that could wind up being in Japan’s favor.

If UK falls on G2 they get that build before USA, which if they also and planes, the game is hard to come back from.

G2 Sealion is unlikely. G3 is more  likely
