Minor Axis & Allied Powers meets AAG40 Map (1941)

@hengst This house rules forum is full of ideas. To avoid scripted games you need a varaiety ways to win or lose a game in a reasonable amount of time ,eg 8 to 12 rounds.BBR and 3G40 are rulesets that encourage you to win by achieving various victory objectives.(not just victory cities)
3G40 changes turn order,merges Anzac into UKPacific,and sticks pretty close to oob rules.BBR is more complex than oob and is real popular.Both are designed to play in 1 day and to be able to declare a winner.

The Atomic Bomb Expansion is now added to the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.

Note:
The Atomic Bomb Expansion is designed for a longer game - and should be used in conjunction with the Total Victory Expansion.

We advice players to study and get familiar with the Atomic Bomb rules before we release the Total Victory Expansion.

We expect to release the Total Victory Expansion no later than 21st April 2026.

@sweetchops27 Sorry mods for necroposting again but this is gorgeous 🤤 In my Atlantic Battlefront 1940 Map, I have very similar convoy boxes to yours (which is cool!) Your large text is neat but the font is a little too wacky. The darker sea color is a nice addition like A&A Zombies, I thought about adding it to mine but I don’t think it’s exactly practical. Anyways, I give it a 4.8/5.

My map (which I haven’t worked on in a few weeks) only takes place in the European side of the map (with no South America) for practical reasons. I hope that whenever it is printed, it isn’t too big and the nation economies are balanced and the setup is okay :>

Thanks! Aside from being slanted toward the Axis like in Anniversary 1942 it is a great change of pace.

I prefer simplicity. I prefer to have them operate like minor ICs except their bonus is one research die per turn instead of producing units. (when not damaged). I’m okay with a cap of 1 tech per turn. I’ll pass on the captured technology raid rule. I think having your enemy capture your research facility (and the free roll each turn after that) is reward enough.

Having them operate like minor ICs let’s you build them on 2 iPc territories, which is necessary if someone like Anzac hopes to ever acquire any technology.

Overall it’s a great concept.

I apologize, I just realized this must be on the Revised map.
I saw AA50 1941 and just assumed it was on that board.

the turn order grabbed my attention because I think that the AA50 turn order where UK always follows Japan makes a Pacfic campaign very difficult to achieve for the allies.

it should be the “double red lines” canal symbol
since thats how our rules have it for Black Sea

just instead of in the middle of two territories (like Anglo-Egypt and Trans-Jordon) it’ll be  fully inside Turkey (like Panama)
