If you are landing a unit amphibiously, yes it would take the territory unopposed. But you have too clear the Sea Zone first, of course. You fail and the unit stays on board.

Afraid not. However, if  you capture a Major Factory with more than 6 damage , it becomes (is downgraded  to) a Minor with just 6 damage.

I believe about turn 7. Do keep in mind that of the 5 playing, I think only 2 of us have played A&A before and was years ago. So you cant follow too many textbook “should haves” as far as this goes.  :-D

Yep, so can the UK, Anz, or Russia. They have to liberate them from the axis though. If the axis don’t take them from the French, then the allies can’t liberate them to collect while Paris is in axis hands.

BTW with alpha rules when Paris is liberated, the French also get to immediately drop 12 IPCs worth of units (it’s 4 inf w/OOB) on the tt of France (Paris). They only get to do this once, the first time Paris is liberated. So if the US liberates Paris, the French get to place these units immediately during the US turn right after the US wins the battle. If the UK is also ready to reinforce Paris with more units/air on their turn the allies may be able to hold it, depending on how prepared the Euro axis are.

Ah, I recognize that philosophy:  “There are few submarine problems that can’t be resolved with a suitable application of depth charges”.

Sending a strategic bomber and/or a tac bomber to bomb airfields to prevent a scramble that may or maynot happen, really spreads the Luftwaffe thin in a turn where there are a lot of must have battles going on for Germany. I recently accomplished sea lion without attacking sea zone 110 in G1 and it gave me good odds everywhere that mattered without risking a single aircraft (much needed when the troops land in London).

“Facilities” Have fire as per the rules of an AA gun if they are strategicly bombed, they fire at bombers only.
