Dimensions of Setup Boxes

I tried that Med strategy that I posted earlier in this thread on Saturday, and it worked great. I caught my opponent by surprise by being so aggressive and it messed up all his plans (what ever they were). I will report later.

Hi All!

In my preparation I always loved having the old setup maps (made by Krieg I believe). As there hasn’t been one availabble for any of the versions after AA50, I decided to make one myself. It has been monkswork (as we say in Holland ). And having one, I asked myself: “Why not sharing it with all of you?”

You’ve clearly been playing with the proposed changes to the Med. Apples and oranges and I’ve addressed both.

j1 gets you borneo easy.  also, you drop that BB before it gets soakers.  other than that it’s sure not as appealing as in p40.

Try using the same setup, but adding an NO for Japan that gives it 10 IPCs each turn that it’s not at war with any of the following powers: USA, UK/ANZAC, or France.  Have fun, and let us know how it goes!

i will glad to see it in the next faq, because this “new” Japan is a bit weak. i think this new NO is a good point between historical accuracy and balancing. I hope that will be approved by LH.
