If their are battle in the atlantic only  and say the next player is Japan, let them go at the same time. we do this all the time, saves time!

I am considering buying the pieces only to add to my exspansive collection of plastic miniatures. How well do the ships sit on the gameboard?

The submarines have bodies that are a bit narrow, so they can sometimes tip over, but the other pieces are stable.

The map to supremacy is horrible and they have nothing like the unit varation or number of terriotries axis and allies has. plus their is no reason the countries are fighting each other

This map could be managed to allow an Axis & Allies game:

I suppose it’s possbile that they play blind, but it sounded like you could shift alliances and such, which would mean you would have to have an extra board for every player, and I think they only used two.
