Carrier based planes do they count the SZ they are in as movement # 1?

If you do go down to Italian Somaliland with that transport, you could bring the transport from India with two units to help. That and the bombardment is usually successful.

Could a russian carrier be used as an early leap frog for allied planes to Moscow?

I mean, there are other better methods I’m sure (Persia)  but it could prove interesting.

Even better, the russians could move the carrier to boost British fighter range and open additional landing zones.

So in the manual it states that defending carriers planes are considered to be defending in the air.  It also states that units trapped on a damaged carrier cannot participate.  I was always under the assumption that when a sub attacks a loaded carrier that… 1) if it only scores one hit and damages carrier then the planes are trapped until it can get back to a friendly naval base 2) If it scores two hits then carrier and all cargo are lost since they don’t participate in battle against subs w/o a destroyer present.  If this is not the case then it seems to me that there is no way for cargo to get trapped on a carrier?

With the German naval station in Western Germany you can bypass 110 and do a landing in seazone 109.

That too, although such an attack (if survived) is easier to block the next turn, where they german fleet has to go all the way back again (while even if they take UK they cannot use the naval bases there)

Miamibeach, true if you can counter the SZ112 fleet of Germany you don’t go after the Italians I guess.

However if you can’t or Germany does not go Sea Lion this is very good attack and I am not quite sure this attack was foreseen during playtest.

p.s. you talk about 9 inf defending UK, but what about the Canadian troops coming in?
