I crossed out my eighteenth point because I’ve changed my mind and those rules do make sense. I still think the new damage and repair rules are flawed with regards to historical accuracy.

My maps aren’t as advanced as IL’s but for the first one I used photoshop, picked the map size i wanted and used out line maps of the continents. You can download a trial version of photoshop at adobe.com buit a permanant version runs more than $600.
I would recommend downloading a map you like the looks of and playing around with it on photoshop. The mopre complicated the map the more than goes into it.

Yea so? I think you can do a fantastic job. Draw it and post a picture. Or just buy a map and get a black marker and make lines.

First time I did a custom map that’s exactly what I did, buy a world map and territory borders. You could try to find an loder copy of photoshop like ps 6 or 7 for much less than the current gen.
