If i have 12 units. (a mix of 6 infantry 2 mech inf, 2 tank 2 fighters) Do i roll 12 dice? or one dice per unit? (one dice for the infantry, one dice for the mech, on for the tanks and one for the fighters)

You roll one dice for each game piece
6 dice for INF needing 1’s to count as a hit
2 dice for the MEC needing 1’s to count as a hit
2 for the Tanks needing 3’s or less to count as hits
2 dice for the fighters needing 3’s or less to count as hitsyou may roll all like dice at the same time
so a total of 8 at 1 or less
and 4 at 3 or lessroll seperatley or designate by color of dice
