After reading the threads, I figured maybe this way would be best to find an artist who can help. I’m looking for someone to help our monastery finish it’s customization of AA Global 40 and possible help, with what is necessary, on the pieces for Global War 1936…… the more intricate, the more monks like games like this. We have lots of pieces that are donated and pretty interesting. We would be more than willing to give the leftovers away. The “Ratte” Landkreuzer P. 1000 tank is my favorite. We have 3

Between you and Allworknoclay, completely awe inspiring.
I’m definately using this work as a reference for mine (which I hope to start next month)!

I think we need a you tube video on how to paint this stuff.
I don’t understand how it looks that good, unless it takes you an hour to make one ship?
Perhaps a step by step guide: paints and brushes required and technique. Dry brushing and tips on doing many at one time.

That’s a good idea - I was planning such a project for the FMG pieces. No… not an hour, hard to pin it down because I do them in sets (all these hulls will have the same color, all these decks, etc.). Kinda curious how long it takes as well. It is really a lot easier than folks imagine (pending on how detailed and if one uses decals) - I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of other people’s cool paint jobs in the future - kinda excited to put up some helper posts or video…

Tigerclaw, no, I don’t sell… though I’ve painted sets for friends (hehe - they call ‘em Viracochas’). Three main reasons I don’t sell: I could never promise an exact date of completion. I think it’s cool to see other people’s painted and/or modded minis. Price? I tried to pin it down per hour… what I’d have to charge I’d be embarrassed to ask of people. :|
I do have what I call ‘scraps’ - though they’re in fine shape. These are all the painted minis that were replaced from my AA50th. I’ve considered using them for trade but the problem is I can’t think of anything A&A related that I need… *shrug
Glad you like the minis - took quite awhile. Can’t wait to put my brush on the FMG pieces!
