Minor IC in W. India

The combined UK economy could always upgrade the Calcutta minor, like a tax on 1st turn purchases to prevent radical changes to first turn moves. The important thing is the UK Pacific economy wouldn’t collapse if Calcutta fell.

Do people see Italy as an Axis minor? I don’t, I know it’s the poorest major power in the game but it’s still a major power. My two cents on this debate is you either take Italy and have it support Germany when it invades USSR or you use Italy as a naval power to keep India and UK from linking up or you can take a more questionable route and try to do both.

Mechs for mobility, they can get to the front faster, regular inf if the front is very close to the factory or if ur going hard defense

Is all I can find on our “Alpha” ruleset.  I’m not arguing, I’m just curious if Japan can build a Major on Manchuria or Kaingsu - or if it has to include the national territory icon in order to be considered “originally controlled”

Again sorry for the wording of “originally colored territories”, it was a poor choice of wording on my part (as Little_Boot pointed out). A tt has to have your roundel on it to be considered one of your original tt’s. You can’t build a Jap major on Manchuria, or Kaingsu (they are Chinese original tt’s).

Oh that is SOOO sweet! Wish I had known that previously.  I had not attacked a French Destroyer for fear of losing the non-Aggression NO for letting FIC be free (figured it was all or nothing.)  Ah well, my fault for not checking first!

only the income is kept seperatly.  everything else is treated as one single power.

EDIT: I just realized that Britain can block you anyways if they’re not at war with you because they can put ships in the same sea zone as yours. So modify this strategy either to include a J2 declaration of war, or forget about the naval base and the three additional transports worth of units.

Warships which are in the same sea-zone as yours and which become hostile on your turn cannot block your movement out of the sea-zone, eg transport can still make a combat move out of a sea-zone with enemy warships present without penalty.
