How nice. They look very straightforwardly, I guess they are great help to make the game run more streamlined.

In Post Sea-Lion I usually shoot a German transport +1 armor onto the other side of Gibraltar.

Else… loading from Northern Italy works.  I have played it before where I’d always leave 1 german inf in Northern Italy for that purpose, and when the time came, load him up to get him over to north africa.

Alot of it is situational though… Egypt doesn’t always fall early.

invading turkey seems useless and dumb. why let the allies put all those extra men on the board, and what real advantage do you get from occupying turkey??? it makes no sense

The Axis take Turkey so they can move land units from Europe to Africa without using Russia to open a second front to attack the Brits in Cairo and Africa so that the Italians can become a threat the Germans send reinforcements especially with a major in romania.

Thats if your playing by the book I play by IL’s neutral rules where the true neutrals are split into blocks so that me invading turkey doesn’t give the US South America

If you want to move land units from Europe to Africa USE TRANSPORTS which are less expensive than taking Turkey and giving the US South America, UK Mozambique, Algeria, Afghanistan, Spain, and Portugal, and Russia Mongolia

The allies still get Spain, Portugal, Sweden, and Mongolia

Well, I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing the Soviet battleship leaving the Baltic Sea.  Makes it easier to ferry troops to Leningrad when I don’t have to take out that annoying Red Fleet, and I can take it out when I spread out into the Atlantic.  So it COULD potentially be useful to Germany to let the neutral Soviet fleet out of the Baltic.  I’d have to see it in action first before passing judgment, though.  Could be interesting… I may try it, see what happens.

I think that letting the Soviet BB hook up with the Royal Navy would be bad news for Germany. Better, as the Offspring song exhorts, to “keep 'em separated”.

Good point…also mine…thats why i ask this question…lets wait…if japan doesn’t attack round 1 in global…maybe it will be the case…then the question is very interesting

Same here ;) just when the allies get too cocky you remind them of a kamakazi strike. “Oh, did’nt QUITE see that coming…”

I think what he means about Larry giving him what for is that he won’t divulge sensitive info to him anymore if he goes and blabs about it to all of us. Oztea looks spot on from what I reckon and think about it this way guys, AAP40 is coming out next week so be happy!
