Yes. And I got a third round of good returns. I doubt I’ll see another game any time soon where France puts up that much of a fight.

Yes France has to fall turn 1 because otherwise the UK can renforce it. That means more losses turn 2. Its also one less turn Germany has to deal with the UK before America and Russia get into it.

Its like asking “Would it be crazy to leave the UK with a fleet after turn 1?”

Thats also yes…might as well conceede the game at that point.

These sound like really neat house rules. If the allies seem to win too many games over here we will probably use them. Potentially turning all of north africa over to the germans.

Tons of fun stuff with the french. Imagine the germans being able to move french soldiers around africa but the french turn back allied first time normany is landed in!

I play a bit of War At Sea as well. Reading the back of the french cards is entertaining. Ships escaping port and german capture with unfinished guns. Ships firing at americans landing in africa.

Heck, am i remembering right that the british landed in madagascar to liberate it from the french? Wasnt the HMS Barham or the Ramilles or some other old battleship there?

My bet would still be for Russia because even though he does speak well of how Germany is doing he seems to be even more proud of the fact that Russia has held out for such a long time and is still very strong.

I typically play with 2-3 people. Too many people makes the game waaaay to slow and too few makes it too boring.

It will apparently be of same size. That said, they could cut some water to make ground bigger. But I think its good enough. Notice how much water there were in Pacific. Now, remove that water and turn them into ground. I think AA40e will be good

I am hoping it is going to be great, but Europe definitley needs to be enlarged to hold all the pieces that will be placed there.

The way the rules are is the way they stay! please! I don’t wan’t to have to learn a new set of rules every time.
It’s great to add powers and intrigue, but please, you overdo it
