IL's 1939 map

We have been playing CDG’s 1939 v3 set-up with a neutrals variant and it is great.  Is anyone aware of a pre-1939 alternate set-up worth trying?

Just finished a game with the Europe only setup. Had to make a few modifications (changed the artillery piece in Paris to a tank and the artillery in Western Germany to a mech; pulled a few subs/tanks from my 1941 game) due to the Germany setup requiring more pieces than the game comes with. Other than that, had an absolute blast, definitely seemed balanced. Thanks.

Anyways Hotspurs. I really encourage you and others to play around with the game.

Im not sure if the game can handle ongoing costs……counting all your units at the end of each turn is going to get complicated.
Also, technically only units that move during a turn are expending oil…so shit would get crazy.

First time I did a custom map that’s exactly what I did, buy a world map and territory borders.  You could try to find an loder copy of photoshop like ps 6 or 7 for much less than the current gen.

yeah, i can download those files,i can definetely use some of those rules in my game,i think i’ll use the new units and fortresses and some of the politics,and as near to the set up as i can.thanks
