The 30th Jan, and this event,is not an anniversary I forget: it is Al’s father’s birthday. He has always enjoyed its place as he  is  anti-monarchist and anti privilege, despite his (state funded) public and Oxford education. It is funny as his wife’s parents worked in the colonies after the war, so politically they do not see eye to eye!

GG: of course its still sugar, and is still very bad for you, but they could make soda significantly less detrimental to your health, and still keep all the taste if they just stopped using high fructose corn syrup. it would be such a small but significant change

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dungy family.  Really tragic.

I hadn’t heard anything about a suicide till seeing those links.
I thought I read something about no foul play earlier in the day.
I suppose it could have been accidental, maybe he mixed the wrong type of stuff???
I suppose it could have been drug related, but everything I’ve heard and read would seem to negate that.
And there are instances of young people having heart problems or something.

At this point there is too much unknown for me, I’ll just wait for the coming reports.

In any case, what a tough situation, and right around the Holidays too.  Really really sad.   :cry:

Wow, I’m particularly surprised at O’Reillys list of extremes.  If those thoughts are actually running through his head, then some of the statments actually impress me.  But I guess he knows enough about extremes - I watched his show once or twice, and that was about all I could take.

But the O’Reilly clothing line is absolutely fabulous!  Now you too can look chic and live the “life O’Reilly.”

And, by the way, it’s God’s fault.  If there’s anyone to blame, it’s Him/Her/It/They/Us.
