We use a heavy outdoor vinyl for our maps. The kind that sign shops use for promotional banners etc. Really nice on larger maps. Don’t be scared to spend the extra money over paper as it is well worth it long term.

I created this old file a few years back for the classic 1977 AH classic.

I bought entire fleets in 1/6000 scale and had them professionally painted and mounted on counters. I have the files for this.

Also wanted to rework the totally ignored situation in China and added a few more bases. I have the files for this too ( not finished)

I will take pictures of a gaming session and post latter.

This game is not far from Axis and Allies ( 6 are hits, then re-roll for damage points)

The best solution to the problem is to download TripleA. The above link will let you do exactly that. Not only will this engine allow you to play Larry Harris maps, it also allows you to play a good selection of player-created maps. Some of them are significantly better than any of Larry’s maps, at least to me. (Including New World Order, Rising Sun, and Domination 1914 No Man’s Land.)
