Can A&A Europe and Pacific be played togethor as one gam

Similar to the Pacific version I created recently, the Europe version takes the 1942 Second Edition map and makes all the territories in the Pacific neutral, making them impassable and removing Japan from the game (also denying the US, the Soviet Union, and the UK income from the Pacific side of the board).

To win, Germany needs to capture 5-6 (the players decide) victory cities and hold them until the end of the US player’s turn. To win, the Allies need to capture Berlin and hold it until the end of Germany’s turn.

All other rules stay the same.

Here are some of my pics from my custom Axis and Allies map for a higher IPC game with some zone changes. I wanted to change up the Pacific snce I’ve always thought that the battles between the USA and Japan were always way too early and that the USA and Japan were too close to each other.

It’s one of the Axis and Allies Express games that some board members have been working on.

Attached is the latest version of AAG41 w/ Axis & Allied Minors.

I know coachofmany/Tigerman77 & Ozeta have there own versions running now…mine is not meant to override but is just an update of a version i’ve posted over the years.

It plays off the AAG40 boards and is based off Alpha2 rule base; NO’s have been modified to take into account the timeframe and a NA or two have been added to each nation.

Essentially, the game adds Romania, Finland, Bulgaria, Hungary and Vichy France for the Axis and Canada, African Colonies, Free French and a more separated UK Pacific for the Allies.  It also establishes “Major Neutrals:” Spain as Pro Axis; Sweden and Turkey as “major” strict neutrals.

There are also some modified rules allowing for powers to attack on the same turn, etc.

I have found it to be a “simple” upgrade and fairly balanced (played 5 games so far with 2 Axis wins and 3 Allied wins).

I have used units from historicalboardgaming.com and will eventually add the FMG units.  I’ll post some pics later.

Did this game die off?

As an A&A game, yea it does suck pretty hard. As a stand alone WWII RTS it is not too shabby. It is one of the few RTS games that takes supply into consideration, and unit morale. I kinda like it. But if you are looking for a Axis and Allies type game you probablly will not like it.
