I recently played my first alpha 2 game, and it did at much needed balance too the game buy lessening of the American war time economy. Also with the addition of infantry and fodder to the german war machine. Anyways, in a regular A&A Europe 1940, if the axis don’t have the game won on turn six is practically impossible. This is because on turn seven, even an incompetent USA player will have enough amassed force to destroy a province and gain a foothold in europe which is the end. The only chance Germany would have is if they control russia and have all their forces in france and central europe.

The game idea was good but, since it’s hard to balance such an epic game with less than 10 people in a few games, the playtesting has been left to us.

As some players have said, the problem is not with the land territories, but with naval units.

Anyway AA is a working project and that is what fascinates me the most. Fauls tend to be corrected in future versions.

In a future map perhaps that aligment could be fixed and maybe Pacific and Atlantic could be wider.

My bet would still be for Russia because even though he does speak well of how Germany is doing he seems to be even more proud of the fact that Russia has held out for such a long time and is still very strong.

Can we combine this with A&A on a Colonial Diplomacy map and play global?

I think that the global game will sell seperatly so the can sell us all the sutff that should have been in the game in the first place.

They have already stated that there will not be a separate global game. Everything you need will be included in both the Pacific and Atlantic games.

J1 will be foolish in AA40 Combined
A G2 attack on russia would co-ordinate with a J2 attack on the US in the Pacific.

Just wait until it comes out.
