Problem Playing Online - PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes Black Elk there needs to be a polished, turn-key, easily-played and down loaded version of A&A fully endorsed by Larry Harris and Avalon Hill. It would bring in thousands if not millions of players into A&A. Go to and brick and mortar game store and they almost snicker at the mention of A&A and yet we have a huge but almost unknown community. A game as polished and "store-bought’ as the Hasbro version or like a Facebook or Google Play App game would bring A&A into the next century. I like to think someone is listening.

OK. Let me spell this out simply. I have asked twice before to no avail.

Can someone walk me through the steps to getting ABattlemap on my computer, and getting it ready to play a Global 1940 game by forum?

And my guess is this might be somewhere already that I haven’t found. If that is true, please link me to the page with ABattlemap available for download.

Do a search on this site, there are a few threads describing where and how to install.  Google it if you have to.  When I installed it last time it came with all the maps, no need to install other packages.  When it first runs it defaults to the original second edition map, select new map should present you with dozens of maps/games.

I believe TripleA and GameTableOnline both run on the Mac natively.

You can play Windows games on the Mac…
by using Parallels desktop, VMWare Fusion, or Boot Camp.

I wanted to download ABattlemap so I could play multiple games and not set up, but my spyware protection said it was bugged. HHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! THANKS

No, unzipping is no problem.  One of them can’t even get the download going.

The other one, we finally got it working, but I’m not sure what combination of maneuvers finally got the job done.

No, they’re not close by, otherwise I would do it for them myself.

Ok, that helped with figuring out how to use the game but I’m still having the problem of infoview and toolbar not appearing unless I reinstall.  I followed the instructions of deleting the .ini file and keeping the windows to the middle of the program but neither work.  While this is a pain for my PC, for some reason I don’t have this problem when I run the program on my laptop.

I prefer a 2 monitor setup anyway so you dont have to keep collapsing the map  so you may want to post from the desktop and leave the map on the laptop. The info and toolbars usually vanish when they are placed at map edges so leave them in the south atlantic and indian oceans. Just remember to look under them occasionally to make sure a new fleet or IC hasnt spawned
