I agree. Al Qaida is almost exclusively a Sunni group made up mostly of Saudi’s.

I just misread your sentence “I have not yet encountered a hostile Iraqi, most of them are in fact, of Saudi background.” as being that you have not encountered hostile Iraqi’s who had emmigrated from Saudi Arabia and I was thinking that any Saudi who emmigrates to Iraq is probably up to no good….

But seriously, the question is completely irrelevant, because there is nothing we can do if aliens do in fact exist, since space travel is simply too slow. lets worry about the guys who want to harm us on our own planet before we worry about other planets attacking us.

agree with, i think this whole story is just being used to draw attention from real problems which the World has, so they bomb the media with some noncence

Just finished the sequel to God’s Debris, entitled “The Religion War”. And all i can say is !!! i loved it. outstanding. Adams has really posed some interesting questions, in a fascinating and entertaining way. even more interesting, he makes clear that the ideas are not his own (not entirely, at least, they may be partially). what can i say about religion war?

Rumor has it that between 30 and 50 briefcase nukes(BCN) are out there. Speculation is that some of them may alrady be in the US.

If so why haven’t they been used to further the warped “Will of Allah?” (Note the bold emphasis.)

I took less than 1/2 hour to pick 30 North American target cities/events…some of which would receive more than 1 BCN. As I typed the original topic(lost to the virus) I thought of five alternative targets. Four of these cities/events are about 100 miles(160 kilometers) of my home.

i wish i could pull the names of the Roman historians who did mention Jesus out - i believe that there were 2 of them that were brought up in a different thread.
Also Luke and Mark were not writing to be popular historians, but rather reciting things that they had heard and seen in letters to people.
As far as Jesus having an important ministry, do you consider that Roman historians would consider a guy who was executed in Israel one day after preaching about stuff to be a historically significant occassion? Would a 1890’s Britain historian include a refernce to a regional news story in Manitoba about a religious figure? I’m curious if a British historian would even have mentioned Louis Riel, nevermind someone of a different faith than everyone else.

What about the Dead Sea Scrolls? They clearly mention a form of Christianity in their days, over 100 years before Jesus. How do you explain that? And how do you explain the fact that in the dead sea scrolls it says a “young gilr” and not a “virgin” in the Isaiah quotes relied on by the church to claim that Mary was a virgin?
